Russell and Sons specialise in all types of plastering work, from standard domestic plastering to technical plastering finishes for specialist applications. These include the application of ThistlePro DuraFinish which is 60% tougher than standard skim finish plaster for use in the more hardworking areas of a building, such as corridors and stairwells and ThistlePro Magnetic, a unique skim finish plaster that attracts magnets to create interactive walls for use in schools, colleges, universities as well as domestic and business applications
ThistlePro DuraFinish
ThistlePro DuraFinish plaster is 60% more hardwearing than standard plaster providing excellent resistance to glancing impacts or accidental damage such as scratching, gouging or chipping. DuraFinish is ideal for high-traffic areas including corridors, stairwells and canteens in healthcare, leisure, social housing, education or office buildings, as well as busy hallways and rooms in houses.
ThistlePro DuraFinish plaster can be used on plasterboard or undercoat plasters, or for re-plastering and repair work on previously finished walls. And any damage to small areas does not spread or cause debonding, making repairs easier.
ThistlePro Magnetic
ThistlePro Magnetic Plaster incorporates properties to attract magnets, meaning it can turn any wall into an interactive space: sticking up notes, pictures and printed documents. The application of the plaster is no different to any other, in fact it can be installed over a new or old surface and can be decorated over without any loss of magnetic effect. Perfect for use in schools, colleges, universities, shops, offices and even at home.
